STUDY VISA PROFILE IN THE NETHERLANDS

1/ Personal documents

      • MVV visa application form
      • Certificate of appointment with the Dutch Embassy/ Consulate
      • IND Visa approval
      • Original passport valid for at least 6 months
      • Old passport (if available)
      • 02 photos of size 3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background taken no more than 6 months (standard image according to the instructions)
      • Household registration

Parental profile if you are under 18:

      • Birth certificate (consular legalization)
      • Parental consent if the child is accompanied by someone else certified by the local government
      • Parental permission/consent if the child is traveling with the mother or father certified by the local government

2/ Academic certification

      • High school and secondary school diplomas (Original + notarized copy)
      • Study Transcripts (corresponding to degrees). If the student is in grade 12, they will submit transcripts for grade 10, grade 11, grade 1 grade 12 + Certificate of study at the school
      • IELTS certification (Minimum 5.0 no band below 4.5)
      • Other certifications (short courses, in-service...)
      • Certificate of merit for academic achievements
      • Offer Letter
      • Relevant documents proving the cost of living deposit

3/ Health Certification

Applicants need a medical examination before coming to the Netherlands.

4/ Financial Proof

The Netherlands does NOT require financial proof for the entire first year period when students study here. Therefore, the financial procedures are very simple:

      • Passbook
      • 1 confirmation of deposit balance over EUR 12,000
      • Receipts for tuition and school deposits

Application time: From 8:30 to 15:00 on weekdays from Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

NOTES

      • The application needs to be translated into English or Dutch and have a valid translation stamp, complete declaration and correct forms as required by the visa office. 
      • For documents that are not original, they need to be notarized within 6 months
      • Vietnamese documents must be accompanied by a valid translation into English with a notarized seal of the Justice Department
      • Documents when submitting notarized copies must be accompanied by the original for comparison
      • Consular authorities may request additional documents and evidence related to the verification of additional information as well as for the issuance of visas.
