SWEDISH VISA APPLICATION

1/ Personal documents

      • Schengen visa application (must be completed and signed by the applicant).
      • Card photo (45mm x 35mm) white background, taken no older than 6 months. Edited photos are not accepted.
      • Original passport (valid for at least 3 months after leaving Schengen countries and must have at least 2 unused pages. Passports must have been issued within the last ten years).
      • Old passports and Schengen visas have been issued (if any).
      • Copies of household registration books, birth certificates, marriage or divorce certificates (if any).

2/ Academic certification

      • High school transcripts, diploma (or provisional graduation certificate) (if applying for a bachelor's program)
      • Transcripts, bachelor's degree (if applying for a master's program)
      • IELTS English certificate of 5.0 or higher (valid for the last 2 years)
      • Motivation letter, letter of recommendation, confirmation of work experience (at the request of the school, the curriculum).
      • Study plan
      • Receipt of payment of tuition fees

      • Certificate of Merit/Certificate of Achievement

      • Application form (according to the school's form)

      • Application fee (depending on the school).

3/ Health Certification

      • Applicants need to provide a certificate of medical examination (at least 1 week before the visa application date)
      • Proof of Comprehensive health insurance in Sweden (if your studies last less than 1 year). This also applies if the university pays for your insurance.

4/ Financial Proof

      • As a rule, students need to prove their finances to study in Sweden with a savings book of about 20,000 USD deposited for at least 6 months in the account or must ensure the amount of 87,600 SEK to ensure the ability to live in Sweden within one year.
      • Or you can use your scholarship certificates (clearly showing the value of the scholarship, the duration of the scholarship) to demonstrate sufficient financial resources for studying in Sweden.

      • Letter of commitment of financial guarantee.

      • Documents proving the relationship with the financial guarantor (In case the guarantor is not the applicant's parents).

      • Documents proving the source of revenue

      •  Property Records

      • Certificates of land use rights, ownership of houses and other property attached to land.

      • Passbook.

      • Car ownership certificate.

      • Certificate of share ownership.

Application time: From 8:30 to 15:00 on weekdays from Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

NOTES

      • All documents must be translated into English and notarized before being submitted to the school.
      • The dossier must prepare 1 additional set of notarized photos and 1 set of Original to be presented to the VFS specialists for comparison and inspection.
      • The visa processing period usually lasts even more than 03 months. Therefore, you should prepare and submit your visa application as soon as possible to avoid missing the semester and risks.
