PRIMARY SCHOOL
Children at the age of 6 enter grade 1 and by grade 6 is the end of Primary School. In Canada allowing children to attend school is mandatory as it is a legal requirement (good education, strong society). Primary education follows a homogeneous structure across Canada, with some minor differences across provinces. Typically, these classes will start at age 5 to 6 and start with 1 year at kindergarten.
HIGH SCHOOL
Secondary school from grade 7 to grade 11, 12 or 13 (depending on the province). Students will then choose to study college, professional high school college (Cé gep) or university.
Particularly, Cé gep is teaching 2 years of high school or vocational training for 3 years between high school and university, and only the province of Quebec has this Cé gep system. All provinces in Canada have private high schools. The Canadian education system in many public schools has begun to admit international students, and is expanding across the country.
COLLEGE
In Canada, there are about 175 post-secondary institutions that are all members of the ACCC – the Canadian Association of Community Colleges. Some other names are: Technical institute, community college, university college, Cé gep.
When you graduate from these educational institutions, you can completely meet the needs of industries, public services, business in the market. etc Associate College: This is a combination of colleges and universities in Canada. When studying here, you can choose 1 of 2 orientations as follow
Study 1 cultural program for 2 years, then transfer to university Study 2-3 years to graduate with a professional degree. In Canada, community colleges are the most popular, offering 1-3 years of professional training (including internships).
UNDERGRADUATE
Up to now, there are 95 universities in Canada that are famous in the world for the quality of teaching and research, so degrees awarded from Canada are always recognized worldwide.
The state funds large-scale Canadian universities, regardless of location or field of study. Each school has a student population ranging from 1,000 to 35,000 students.
Each university year lasts from September of the previous year to May of the following year, there are some schools in a 2- or 3-semester system, studying all summer.
In particular, in Canada, there are no university entrance exams but only admissions, each university has its own admission standards and application procedures on a case-by-case basis.
